What is the history of Liberty in America?
Has Liberty been lost in America?
How can we recapture Liberty?

These topics and other related subjects may be addressed in your essay. The Liberty Forum hopes this essay contest will encourage students to further consider the state of liberty in America today. The contest is open to any highschool student 9-12 grade.

Prizes are:

  • 1st place, $100 scholarship.
  • 2nd place $50 scholarship.

Both first and second place winners will receive a copy of the book Road to Serfdom by Friedrich Hayek. Winning essays will be published on our website.

Submission Guidelines
Essays should be:

  • Typed
  • Double Spaced
  • 12 pt. Times New Roman
  • Between 400-800 words in length

Essays should be accompanied by a short bio and picture of the author. Submission deadline is June 1st. Winners will be announced at the end of the summer.
